2. FUNDAMENTAL STRUCTURE OF VARIOCLIC LAMINATE PARQUET;
- OVERLAY : It is a film layer essentially made of alpha cellulose with aluminum oxide particles injected to inner sides and impregnated with melamine resin. Thanks to aluminum oxide particles, it gains resistance and durability against abrasion, scratching and heat. By the help of melamine resin, these particles hold on to the film layer. Additionally, melamine resin, completely melted and then hardened, decreases the porosity and prevent the panel to be stained and get dusty and helps easy-cleaning and procures hygiene.
- DECORATIVE PRINT : This is made by the way of printing exact photos of the natural trees on special papers. Subsequently, this is impregnated with melamine resin. These papers are 70-90 g/m2 and resistant to moisture and humidity.
- HDF : These are fiber panels, with higher density and non inclusive of carcinogenic substances (at E1 standards) and resistant to humidity and moisture.
- BALANCE PAPER : It is a film layer, which is particularly manufactured of papers made of tree fibers having higher stabilization such as eucalyptus and impregnated with melamine, resistant to moisture and humidity and which ensures stabilization of the parquet panels.
- PARAPHINE (WAX) : This substance, also called as wax, is applied to the tongue and channels during production in hot liquid state. After such an implementation, joined parts of the panels become resistant to moisture and humidity.
3. VARIOCLIC; REQUIREMENTS RELATING TO MAINTENANCE, CARE AND CLEANING;
- Varioclic is hygienic. It is easily cleaned up by a broom or electric broom. Clean up footprints, stuck dirt with a dampened and strongly wrung cloth, in the lengthways of the panels.
- Excess moisture should immediately be taken. Please eliminate harder stains and dirt with the help of general cleaning agents or laminate parquet cleaners. Never use cleaning agents or care products including beeswax, oil or polish.
- In dusty spaces, please lay out dust and dirt collecting mats to form a clean walking path.
- Use felt bolt or rubber roller for the legs of your furniture to protect your laminate floor. Wheel rubber should be in conformity with DIN 68131 Tip ?w?. An ideal room atmosphere (room temperature 18-22C, moisture 55-65%) is important not only for you and your family but also for your laminate floor.
4. VARIOCLIC; MATTERS TO BE PAID ATTENTION DURING HANDLING AND TRANSPORTATION;
- The warranty period commences from the time of issuance of delivery receipt or bill of carriage as of the delivery of the goods to the consumer. The goods should be transported in packages and should not be carried in a humid atmosphere. -
INCONVENIENT FLOORS FOR VARIOCLIC LAMINATE PARQUET INSTALLATION
- Felt
- Carpeted floors (since they are soft and flossy)
- Betopan surfaces (moisture is higher)
- Marble (since marble is colder 2-3°C than the environment where they are laid, transpiration occurs between marble and mattress)
- In mineral concrete floors, the floor should be heated and excess humidity should be eliminated by the way so.
-
FLOORS FOR VARIOCLIC LAMINATE PARQUET INSTALLATION
- The heating system should be turned off 2-3 days prior to Varioclic laminate parquet installation.
- Temperature of the floor on which Varioclic installation is to be made should be minimum 15°C.
- The floor on which Varioclic installation is to be made should be very proper and smooth. Level difference should not exceed maximum 1 mm.
- A PE (Polyethilene) mattress folio of 0.2 mm should be laid out on the floor.
- PE folio joints should be overlapped with a portion of 20 mm and should be adhered regularly and uninterruptedly with each other with a moisture-resistant band.
- The floor heaters should be of the power of 60W/m2.
- Maximum floor temperature should be 26-28°C.
- One week after parquet laying process, the floor is heated up to 16-20°C. After one week, the floor temperature is increased by 5°C until it reaches the maximum temperature.
- In floor heating, materials such as craft paper, corrugated cardboard, which are not resistant to moisture, are not used instead of 0.2 mm PE folio.
- Varioclic laminate parquet is not convenient for electrical floor heating systems.
- You may get further information about floor heating systems from authorized sale stores.
-
CONTROL OF THE PLACE WHERE VARIOCLIC INSTALLATION IS TO BE MADE;
- The parquet boards should be kept in unopened packages on a convenient floor in the place where the installation is to be made at 18°C and 55-65% relative humidity for 48 hours.
- Straightness of the floors should be 1mm/m for floor heating systems and 2 mm/m for the other heating systems.
- Substances making height differences such as concrete, liquid etc. should be removed completely.
- Laminate parquet should not be laid in WC, bathrooms, kitchens and the like.
- Water and humidity should never leak onto the floor where the laminate parquet is to be laid from the wall bottoms, window bottoms and entries.
- Room temperature should be at least 18°C during placement of the laminate parquet.
- Laminate parquet panels should be laid 10 m. along the lengthways and 8 m horizontally. In case of excess, please use expansion joint profiles and leave 30 mm gaps for expansion.
- Lay out the laminate parquet after you are sure that the floor humidity is convenient for laminate parquet.
-
NECESSARY MATERIALS FOR INSTALLATION;
Distance battens, stretcher, galley bar, saw (decoupage), square, ruler, polyethylene mattress, 0.2 mm PE (Polyethylene folio) for protection against humidity, D3 quality laminate parquet glue.
6. VARIOCLIC LAMINATE PARQUET APPLICATION SYSTEMS
-
LAMINATE PARQUET (INSTALLATION) APPLICATION PROCESS
- Begin laying in the left hand corner, tongue side against the wall. After completion of the first line, start to lay the second line.
- Second line is started with a half panel or the surplus part remained from the first line. VARIOCLIC laminate parquet has two types of click systems. Firstly, starting with the second line, after placement of the first panel, head of the second panel is placed with 45° angle with the floor. Before completion of this process, third panel is placed with the assisting batten placed under the 1st panel and this process is continued as far as the end of the wall and then the assisting battens are removed, starting from the 1st line; afterwards, their heads are firstly pushed ahead by the palms and placed; and the middle parts of the panels are placed with the same method. This process is continued as far as the last panel of the 2nd line.
- When placing the parquet panels around the radiators, after placement of the last panel of the line, the click at the head of the last panel between the radiator and the panel is eliminated by a utility knife and these sides are adhered to each other with glue.
- Please fix the tow boards into the wall. If you use tow board clips, place the clips in a distance of 40-50 cm to the wall and insert the tow boards.
Suggestion: Varioclic laminate parquet is not convenient for laying on the electrical floor heating systems. You may get further information about floor heating systems from authorized sale stores.
-
VARIOCLIC LAMINATE PARQUET (WITH GLUE) (INSTALLATION) APPLICATION PROCESS
- Placement of the varioclic laminate parquet with glue procures continuous protection against humidity. However, it is not likely possible to be uninstalled for a second installation for reuse.
- It is not convenient to lay laminate parquet on wooden floors.
- Before laying the laminate parquet on mineral based floors such as ceramics etc., 0.2 mm PE film (nylon) and 1-3 mm PE mattress should definitely be laid on the relevant floor for protection against humidity possibly arising out of the floor.
- Use 1-3 mm PE mattress for footsteps isolation.
- In case of irregular walls, flush the first panel line to the wall and cut the panels accordingly. Measure the width of the room before placement of the laminate parquet panels. If 5 cm gap would occur in the last panel line, you should equally share the existing measurement between the first and last panels. Leave minimum 15 mm edge distance as fixed by the distance battens around the wall, heating system pipes, columns, door stoppers. In case of spaces with the length of longer than 10 m and width of longer than 8 m, expansion gaps should be minimum 3 cm. Pay attention to this matter in case of laminate flooring laying from one room to any another. Additionally expansion gaps should also be left around the door bands.
- In case of floorings with glue, use adequate quantity of D3 Type PVA white glue in the parquet channels. Clean up the excess glue, with a plastic spatula approximately 10 minutes after the joining process. Remove the glue residues remained on the surface by a glue solvent or a soft wet sponge. Until completion of the glue reaction, please apply stretching process after the first 3 lines of panel for 30 minutes on one of each three lines.
Suggestion: Place the parquet panels in the lengthways and in the route of the light source.
